
The 2017-2018 Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society inductions were held recently in the BHS auditorium. “Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is the only national organization for high school juniors and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies.”

Students were inducted into the 2017-2018 Interact Club of Blytheville High School on October 4, 2017. Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. The club encourages students to take action, build international understanding, and make new friends around the world. BHS Homecoming week starts off with "Medical Monday", as students and teachers dress up as doctors, nurses, or patients.


Special thanks to those who participated in the Historical Human Panel. We enjoyed learning more about their culture and life during the 1950-1970's. The panel was Mrs.Vickie Ratliff, Ms.Lucretia McDonald, Mr.Idell Jenkins, Mr. Paul Jenkins, Mrs. Vera James, Mr.Cecil McDonald, and Ms.Norma Valley.
