Blytheville School policies were followed today during an incident that occurred on Blytheville High School campus. The safety of our students is and will always be our number one priority. The threat occurred shortly before lunch, so students were moved by staff to the cafeteria as the threat was evaluated. After lunch students were escorted to the Arena where students remained until the all clear was made by the Blytheville Police Department and Arkansas State Police.

Blytheville High School was put on a perimeter lockdown due to an incident that occurred, and all students have been relocated at this time and are safe. Parents please refrain from trying to pickup your students at this time.
BHS Students Joseph Riley & Courtney Rogers attended the Arkansas Technology Student Association State Conference with ANC Tech Center on Wednesday, April 2nd. They placed 1st Place in the Drone Competition. Congratulations guys!

ACT Testing for this Saturday April 5th, has been postponed for the Blytheville High School testing location to April 26th.

Blytheville Public Schools will be closed tomorrow February 21, 2025. We are concerned about some residential side and county roads, the expected overnight refreeze across campuses, and students waiting at the bus stops in the negative wind chills.
However, 4A-3 District Tournament play will continue with your Lady Chicks at 4:00PM as they take on Westside, followed by the Boys at 5:30PM as they also take on Westside in the Semifinals.

Due to all after school activities being canceled for potential winter weather, the BHS PTO meeting scheduled for this afternoon at 4:00 PM will be rescheduled for a later date.
The Blytheville School District will be dismissing early at 1:30 pm due to the impact of inclement weather across the state.
The Blytheville School District is closely monitoring the weather and the potential impact it may have on our area. We will operate on a regular schedule on Tuesday, February 18; however, if conditions change we will notify you as soon as possible. We will communicate any changes through text messages/phone calls , the district website and social media.
There will be NO outside deliveries of Valentine goods for students today or tomorrow. You will not be allowed to take these items on the buses as well.
*Also remember that school is not in session on Monday in observance of President's Day.
ATLAS Interim Testing is happening this week. Students should arrive to school by the tardy bell at 7:49, prepared with charged Chromebook and report to their assigned testing rooms.
