Blytheville High School Family Paint Night has been postponed.
BHS students should return to school on Friday, January 14th. AMI work from Day 1 & 2 must be turned Friday morning. Work from Days 3 & 4 is due next Wednesday.

Blytheville Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 7th due to hazardous road conditions. The safety of students, parents, and staff is our first priority. Tomorrow will be AMI Day 2.
The boys basketball games tonight at Trumann have been postponed. We will play them tomorrow night, Friday, January 7th at Trumann. Same times.
Due to the threat for inclement weather this morning, we will take AMI Day 1 today. The safety of students, parents, and staff is our first priority. Please make plans to keep students home. School is canceled for Blytheville Public Schools on January 6, 2022.
In an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus within our staff and student body we are telling all parents/guardians of students who will be in attendance on-site, virtual students, and all employees to notify our designated Point of Contact (Tiffany Townsend) immediately when the following occurs:
Someone in the household has tested positive for COVID-19.
Someone in the household has been identified as a close contact to a positive case of COVID-19 and is requiring quarantine and/or recommended to be tested for COVID-19.
Students and employees who are being tested for COVID-19: If tested you must remain in quarantine until you receive your results.
A copy of your results negative or positive needs to be submitted to Tiffany Townsend.

BMS and BHS are still on perimeter lockdown. Parents do not need to come up to the schools at this time. Classes are still in session and security is still onsite. BSD security and BPD are actively working together to find the source of the social media posts.
Blytheville School District is aware of the threat that has been shared via social media in regards to BMS and BHS. Both the BSD security and Blytheville police are working together on this matter. The safety of our students and staff are important to us. At this time parents are asked not to come to the schools as they will be going into a perimeter lockdown.
