
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (5-2) whipped up on West Memphis West 49-20 on Dec. 11 at the BHS Gym, and the Blytheville Middle School eighth graders (1-4) won 35-19.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (1-1, 4-2) dropped a 65-52 AAAAA-East decision at Valley View on Dec. 9, and the ‘B’ Chickasaws (1-1) defeated the JV Blazers 43-33 in the first game of the night.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-2, 1-4) on Dec. 7 lost to Nettleton 56-1 at the BHS Gym, and the BMS eighth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (2-2) lost 49-11.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (2-0, 4-2) worked past Nettleton 53-42 on Dec. 7 at the BHS Gym.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (1-0, 4-1) won their 2017-18 home opener Dec. 5 against Marion 67-52 at the BHS Gym, and the junior varsity Chickasaws absorbed a 39-35 defeat to the ‘B’ Patriots.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (1-0, 3-2) on Dec. 5 were not quite up to the task at Jonesboro MacArthur, losing 57-47.

The Blytheville Middle School eighth grade Junior Chickasaws (0-4) fell at Jonesboro MacArthur 35-24 on Dec. 5, and the seventh grade Junior Chickasaws (0-6) lost 43-24.

The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws were beaten 56-20 on Dec. 5 by Marion at the BHS Gym in their first game of the 2017-18 campaign.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (1-0, 3-1) on Dec. 4 were too much for Batesville, running to a 48-27 decision in their AAAAA-East opener at the BHS Gym.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-1, 1-3) were defeated by Batesville 47-16 in their AAAAA-East opener Dec. 4 at the BHS Gym.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Briah Gardner, a teacher and friend in our Chickasaw family. Please remember Anita, her mother and a BMS teacher, and keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. She will be missed.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (3-1) polished off Batesville Southside 53-43 on Dec. 2 in the third round of the Barry Pruitt Classic in Jonesboro.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (2-1) destroyed Jacksonville Lighthouse 71-28 in the second round Dec. 1 of the Barry Pruitt Classic in Jonesboro, and will play Batesville Southside on Dec. 2 at 1:30 p.m.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (1-1) lost a hard-fought 59-56 decision to Pine Bluff on Nov. 30 in the first round of the Barry Pruitt Classic at Jonesboro. The Chickasaws’ next Classic game is Friday at 4 p.m.

The Blytheville Middle School eighth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (2-1) lost to West Memphis Wonder 17-9 on Nov. 30 at the BHS Gym, and the seventh grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-1) were also defeated 37-10.
