The Blytheville Middle School eighth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-13, 1-18) on Feb. 2 lost to Batesville 42-9 in the first round of the AAAA/AAA Conference Tournament at Southside, ending their season.

Tomorrow’s JV Boys game has been cancelled. Senior Night will begin at 6pm followed by the SR Girls and SR Boys games. We are asking all students that will be recognized during Senior Night to be at the Boys Gym no later than 5:30-5:45pm along with their escort/escorts.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (10-3, 15-5) on Feb. 1 swept the season series from Batesville Southside, winning 65-50 at Batesville.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (7-6, 7-11) on Feb. 1 ended their regular season with a 44-33 win at Batesville Southside, and the Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-13, 1-17) lost to the Junior Lady Southerners 37-10.

The Blytheville Middle School seventh grade Junior Chickasaws (5-6) on Jan. 31 stifled the Wynne Junior Yellowjackets 39-17 at Wynne, and the seventh grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (5-5) ended their campaign by defeating Wynne 32-15.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (9-3, 14-5) on Jan. 29 crushed Pocahontas 69-33 in the 4A Conference 3 at the BHS Gym, and the ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (6-6, 6-11) lost to the Junior Redskins 42-32 in the first outing.

The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws (2-10, 4-17) on Jan. 28 lost to Pocahontas 47-38 in the 4A Conference 3 at the BHS Gym, and the Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-12, 1-16) were denied by the Junior Lady Redskins 37-21 in the first game.

Tomorrow's JR and SR girls games vs. Pocahontas will be TONIGHT, 1/28, beginning at 5 PM at the BHS Gym. The JR & SR boys will still play their Pocahontas games tomorrow, 1/29, at 5:30 PM @ BHS.

The Blytheville Middle School seventh grade Junior Chickasaws (4-6) on Jan. 26 manhandled Marion Red 37-15 in a jamboree at West Memphis, and then controlled Marion Blue almost as bad, 37-16.

The Blytheville Middle School seventh grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (4-5) on Jan. 26 whipped up on West Memphis West 30-5, and then defeated West Memphis East 20-18. The games were in West Memphis.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (8-3, 13-5) on Jan. 25 nearly doubled the Batesville Pioneers’ output, winning at Batesville 80-42 in 4A Conference 3 action.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (6-5, 6-10) on Jan. 25 controlled the Batesville Junior Pioneers 54-44 in the 4A Conference 3 at Batesville, and the Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-11, 1-15) lost to the Junior Lady Pioneers 40-9.

The Blytheville Middle School eighth grade Junior Chickasaws (2-7) on Jan. 24 won at Brookland 22-21, and the seventh grade Junior Chickasaws (2-6) lost to the Junior Bearcats 38-30.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (8-2, 13-4) on Jan. 18 were victorious at Highland 55-38 in 4A Conference 3 action.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (5-4, 5-9) on Jan. 18 lost at Highland 38-33 in 4A Conference 3 play, and the Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-9, 1-13) were defeated by the Junior Lady Rebels 39-9.

The Blytheville School District will be closed Jan. 21 in honor of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Regular class schedules will resume Tuesday morning, Jan. 22.

The Blytheville Middle School seventh grade Junior Chickasaws (2-5) on Jan. 17 defeated Wynne 49-17 at the BHS Gym, and the seventh grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (2-4) won against the Junior Lady Yellowjackets 22-12.
